Biography

Hannah Schelb started working in ceramics in 2009 while attending Augusta University. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2012, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked in ceramic glaze production and began teaching. In 2016 and 2017, Schelb was invited to attend a summer residency at Chautauqua School of Visual Arts in Chautauqua, New York. In 2018, Schelb moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and taught K-12 after-school programs. She was accepted into the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019 and graduated with a Master of Arts and Fine Arts in May 2021. In 2022, she was invited back to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a lecturer until 2024. Schelb is currently one of the Foundation's residents at Belger Crane Studios in Kansas City, Missouri.
